In most sites, there are rules. Ace That Exam is no exception. So listed below are the rules, first time offenders may receive a warning (depending on the severity). Frequent offenders would lead to temporary or even permanent bans

1. Basics

1.a Be kind!

This rule paves the way to many of the other rules. This ESPECIALLY applies for the comments section. Think, if your HM sees what you wrote, would you get in trouble? The comment section is there to help answer any questions and to help each other improve, kind of like peer marking and writing EBIs for others.

1.b Do not spread misinformation
1.c Do not spam.1
1.b Do not go off topic.2

2. Content, Editing and Formatting

2.a If the work is not yours, check to make sure you can use it.
2.a.i Don't try to pass of anyone's work as your own.
2.a.ii In fact, if you use someone else's work, credit it to them.
2.b Don't upload any AI generated content.
2.b.i By that, we mean no parts of anything uploaded onto here should be created by any form which may be considered generative AI.
2.c Do not edit other's pages unless stated otherwise. (exceptions include, but are not limited to: correct minor typos, or approved by staff)
2.d Keep the comments section, and the voting function on your page. (some pages are the exception, such as the home page, and other admin pages)
2.e Please try to keep to the default theme, unless absolutely necessary.

3. Upvoting, Downvoting, Comments and Forums

3.a Upvote/ Downvote pages as you wish.
3.a.i This includes your own pages. (though we are not sure why you'd want to downvote your own article)
3.a.ii Do not call for a group upvoting/downvoting. Being part of such group may lead to a ban.
3.b Make sure your comments are helpful. We are commenting to help each other improve.
3.c Any conflicts of arguments must be settled in a civilised manner

4. Staff appeals

4.a If you disagree with a staff decision, you may request for an appeal
